What we do
We provide a web-based manga translation flow: after a user uploads pages, the system recognizes text in the images, generates translations, and tries to keep the original reading order and page structure. When processing is finished, users can download the result and review it before sharing or publishing.
Why we built it
Many manga translation workflows require switching between OCR, translation, retouching, and layout tools. MangaTranslate is meant to reduce those repeated steps and give readers, creators, and small teams a lighter option.
How we think about this
Automation can save time, but it should not replace human judgment. We prioritize improvements to recognition, translation, editing, and export instead of adding unnecessary presentation effects.
Responsible use
MangaTranslate is an assistive tool. Image quality, fonts, handwriting, sound effects, and context can all affect the result, so human review is still recommended before final use. Users should only upload content they have the right to process.
